Analyzing Data Using Excel (or LibreOffice!)

Spreadsheet software is not shiny or novel, but it’s one of the software interfaces most frequently encountered by a practicing planner. As such, it’s important to know how to get the most from it and how to use it to analyze and summarize datasets. We’ll be covering the basics (and some of… let’s call them the “basics plus”). Almost all of this workshop will be applicable whether you’re using proprietary software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) or open source software (e.g., LibreOffice Calc).
